A peer-to-peer learning program that builds climate resilience across farms, forests and communities.
Climate change is reshaping the landscape of agriculture and forestry, bringing challenges like extreme rainfall and flooding, increased pest pressure, and drought to farms and forests in the Northeast and Midwest United States. Climate Adaptation and Mitigation Fellowship (CAMF) Programs aim to be a part of the solution. CAMF is designed to empower farmers and agricultural advisors to gain and share knowledge and tools needed to be resilient in the face of climate uncertainty.
The Climate Adaptation and Mitigation Fellowship is running four programs than began in January 2024 and will run through the beginning of 2026. These cohort-based learning opportunities are for farmers and agricultural advisors in the Northeast and Midwest who are interested in climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies and planning, as well as peer-to-peer networking and support.
Carefully crafted by sector-specific teams made up of researchers, farmers, foresters, and technical service providers, our curricula has not only been peer-reviewed, but it's also been tested.
